Thai Car Rental Association (TCRA) is a nonprofit organization (NPO) that was formed by three companies:
1.JAPANRENT (THAILAND) PUBLIC CO., LTD.
2.PREMIER INTER LEASING CO., LTD.
3.WORLDCLASS RENT A CAR CO., LTD.
“TCRA” was registered on 30th July, 1999 and received the permit from the Department of Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce.
The objectives of TCRA establishment
1.TCRA will provide information about car rental (Knowledge).
2.TCRA will be a mediator to compromise any disputes or an arbitrator between the member and service user (Arbitration).
3.TCRA will promote the quality and good governance of the car rental business
(Good Corporate Governance).

TCRA started the first formal meeting to select the board of directors on 2th November, 1999. Dr. Nathee Vadtanakovint was the first TCRA President, and the certified company joined as the members.
